Anthropologist. Somatic practitioner. Pattern reader.

I study the patterns behind why modern men struggle with intimacy, leadership, and presence — and I teach what actually changes them. My work draws from anthropology, phenomenology, and lived practice to understand how humans across cultures trained presence, responsibility, and relational steadiness.

I don't approach men as problems to be fixed. I approach them as patterned beings living inside systems that no longer support intimacy, steadiness, or relational depth.

First Ground is strongly recommended but not required. The foundation it provides — basic regulation, body awareness, and orientation to this work — makes Solid Ground significantly more effective. If you haven't done it, we'll discuss readiness during your application.

One live group session per week (approximately 90 minutes), plus daily personal practice of 10–20 minutes. The daily practice is not homework — it's regulation. Most men find it becomes something they look forward to.

Sessions are recorded, but this work is relational — attending live matters. The cohort holds space for life's demands, but consistent presence is part of the commitment. If you know you'll miss more than one session, let's discuss timing.

No. This is embodied presence training — not therapy, not coaching, and not a treatment for mental illness. Some men do this alongside therapy. The two are complementary but different. This work focuses on nervous system regulation and relational presence, not diagnosis or processing.

Jay personally reviews every application. Cohorts are kept intentionally small (typically 8–12 men) to ensure depth, safety, and individual attention. Fit matters — both for you and for the group.
